Role Overview
We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for the Lymphovascular Research Group. The successful applicant will work on developing novel tools to understand how Primary Lymphoedema‑associated EPHB4 receptor tyrosine kinase variants influence downstream signalling pathways and their molecular and cellular consequences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to explore EPHB4 signalling in lymphatic cells.
  • Develop and optimise molecular tools for studying lymphatic biology.
  • Analyse data and interpret results to advance the lymphatic molecular genetics programme at CSG.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within City, St George's and external partners.
  • Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.

Qualifications

  • PhD in cell biology, molecular biology or a related field.
  • Proven track record in biomedical research, rare diseases or vascular/lymphovascular sciences.
  • Experience in lympho‑vascular research or gene expression regulation is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of lymphatic system biology and function.
  • Academic initiative that would contribute to the development of the lymphatic molecular genetics programme at CSG.
