The responsibilities of QUAD include oversight of Senate academic policy and regulation and support for School-based quality teams in implementing these. The Assistant Registrar (Quality) plays a key role in the management of the quality and standards framework. Institutionally-based, the Assistant Registrar (Quality) works collaboratively with colleagues in Academic Services and School-based teams to ensure the effective day-to-day management and development of the framework; being directly responsible for a number of components.
The post-holder is responsible for ensuring the currency and coherence of the approved quality and standards framework, ensuring appropriate alignment with national requirements. As such, the Assistant Registrar (Quality) is a prime source of advice and support to the Senior Officers of the University, to Associate Deans (Education), academic leads, the Students' Union and other academic and professional staff.
The Assistant Registrar (Quality) will also provide high quality support and management for a range of strategic projects and priorities that lead to the enhancement of the student learning and broader experience.

A hybrid working arrangement will not detract from any comprehensive induction, that will include relevant on-site activities. Regardless of where colleagues are working, City St George's, University of London's premises will be their primary and contractual place of work.
