Background

We are looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Associate to support the delivery of a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship research programme investigating the mechanisms underlying cognitive and affective symptoms in Parkinson’s disease.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will contribute to multimodal neurophysiological data acquisition, computational analysis, interpretation, publication, and dissemination.
  • They will work closely with the PI, a multidisciplinary team of researchers, a public advisory group and clinicians.
  • They will be encouraged to develop their own career ambitions, including research supervision, during this appointment.

The post will be based predominantly at the university's Tooting Campus.

Person Specification

  • PhD in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, psychology, computational sciences, or related area.
  • Strong coding skills (e.g., MATLAB).
  • Advanced statistical experience.
  • An excellent publication track record.
  • Experience of conducting research with clinical populations.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
