As an education facilitator in the MBBS Programme at City St George’s, University of London, you will lead and deliver Problem Based Learning (PBL) tutorials for first‑year MBBS4 and Transition Year students, working closely with the Small Group and Programme team.

Please note: This role is open only to redeployed employees at City St George’s. Applications from individuals who are not redeployed will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high‑quality PBL tutorials, supporting and mentoring students through inclusive and adaptive approaches.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and monitor student progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, including designing assessment question banks and refining PBL cases.
  • Drive quality improvement aligned with the MBBS education strategy.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, guide educational discussions and decisions, support departmental administration, ensure safe operations, and promote compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifications

  • Successful track record in facilitating small‑group tutorials within higher education.
  • Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
  • Accurate and detail‑oriented, even under pressure.
  • Passion for delivering inclusive education and experience working with students.
  • Enthusiasm, personal initiative and the ability to solve problems independently.
