Background
The ePAD Officer role will be part of a team whose purpose is to support student placements across the School. This role will focus primarily on the ePAD, which is an online platform that enables students, together with practice staff and academics, to complete all the forms associated with practice assessment and record practice hours.
Responsibilities
- Upload placement allocations onto the ePAD and ensure data is correct and up to date.
- Ensure the smooth running of online training sessions, provide details regarding the ePAD, and answer queries from students, academics and placement providers attending the training.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via the ePAD inbox and raise queries to the system provider via an online helpdesk.
- Attend internal and external meetings regarding the ePAD system and keep up to date with changes.
Person Specification
- Good knowledge of IT packages, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes; ideally working knowledge of university procedures and systems with a background in placements.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing new processes, systems and improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with a clear customer‑centred approach; time management and organisational skills also crucial.
