We are seeking a lecturer in broadcast journalism to join our teaching team and help educate the next generation of journalists at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. The successful candidate will have substantial experience working in fast-paced broadcast newsroom environments, with current multi-platform journalism skills and the ability to teach practical, deadline-driven news production. They will also show a genuine commitment to teaching excellence, providing creative, engaging lessons for students; as well as paying attention to detail, and being organised, fair and transparent in their approach to assessment. The role will involve administration duties to help run the department. This is a part-time role. The successful candidate will be appointed with an “Education” role profile, focusing on education and leadership/administration.
Responsibilities
