Responsibilities We are seeking to appoint an outstanding academic in Adult Nursing who will deliver high-quality teaching to pre and post-registration nursing students, including classroom-based activities (lectures, seminars) and simulated practice activities in our excellent simulated practice environments. Support the Programme Team by undertaking fair and consistent assessment of students as detailed in the module specification (for example, marking essays and portfolios, conducting vivas, OSCEs, etc). Some of these assessments may need to be conducted in the students’ clinical areas.
Qualifications and requirements The successful candidates will need to be registered with the NMC and a qualification in academic practice (PGCE or equivalent) would also be desirable. The role requires you to have a breadth and depth of knowledge in Adult Nursing and related practice education topics, commensurate with teaching at BSc and Master’s level.
