Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate potential for internationally recognised research with a developing publication record.
  • Contribute significantly to research, education, and the student experience in the Department.
  • Teach diverse student groups and deliver research-informed education.
  • Commit to equality, diversity, and collegiality.
  • Contribute to academic administration and research funding.

Person Specification:

  • Hold a PhD in a relevant field (or be nearing completion).
  • Engage with the UK Professional Standards Framework ideally meeting HEA Fellow Descriptor 2 criteria.
  • Possess strong subject knowledge in core or specialist areas of law.
  • Have experience teaching undergraduate cohorts.
  • Show commitment to high-quality, inclusive education and use of modern teaching technologies.
  • Engage in active research.
