Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology - (Tooting) in City of Westminster

This part‑time post (0.3 WTE) provides industry insight and teaching expertise in drug development for the BSc Clinical Pharmacology program at City St George's, University of London.

Responsibilities

  • Provide industry insight into the design of the drug development theme across the programme.
  • Contribute expert teaching.
  • Support the programme team and students in identifying industry placements where possible.
  • Advise educators and researchers elsewhere in the university on aspects of clinical trials and drug development.
  • Bring personal experience of drug development to enrich the design and delivery of the programme and help develop the next generation of industrial clinical pharmacologists.

Qualifications

  • Recent commercial experience and up‑to‑date knowledge of drug development and/or discovery, and the latest advances in clinical pharmacology.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Interest in adding experience in higher education to a career portfolio.
