Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across all trades and building services to the Head of Maintenance at Tooting.
- Manage compliance activities and contractors across the Tooting Campus, ensuring statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
- Oversee and maintain an ageing and complex estate, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Audit and manage contracted maintenance across the campus.
- Oversee statutory compliance areas including LOLER, Legionella L8, pressure systems, refrigeration, F-gas, gas boilers, asbestos, fire systems, and electrical testing.
- Supervise specialist subcontractors, including attending and recording meetings as required.
Person Specification
- Strong technical foundation in building and plant maintenance.
- Qualifications such as BEng (Hons), HND, HNC or relevant City & Guilds certifications in mechanical, electrical, or building services disciplines.
- Robust health and safety knowledge, supported by IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH qualifications.
