We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Lecturer in Psychology who has academic, teaching and research experience in this field and can lead on, and develop, our current BSc Psychology provision. We would welcome applicants with academic expertise and teaching experience from diverse areas of Psychology and who could contribute widely to our thriving department.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder is primarily expected to contribute to taught modules of our undergraduate programmes in Psychology, and Psychology with Criminology.
  • May also be involved in teaching on one of our current MSc programmes and/or PG programmes in development.
  • Perform the role of personal tutor to students.
  • Supervise dissertations.
  • Contribute to departmental administrative duties.
  • Design and mark coursework assessments.
  • Contribute to team, departmental, and student events and meetings.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a Psychologist who is able and motivated to contribute to the teaching, research and administration of the Department, and to the delivery of a high-quality teaching programme on the BSc Psychology.
