Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy - (Tooting) (INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy who has experience in academic practice, teaching, and curriculum development in allied health programmes. This role is focused on delivering and supporting Occupational Therapy provision at City St George’s University of London. You will be involved in ensuring quality and consistency across academic and practice-based teaching and learning, and in the monitoring, review and revalidation of programmes, including developing interprofessional elements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the provision of high-quality teaching, research, enterprise and/or professional activity, in collaboration with others, to the benefit of a diverse range of students and colleagues.
• Engaging in pastoral care of a diverse range of students, differing degrees of academic leadership, management and administration and to maintain certain relationships and contacts.
• Contributing to curriculum delivery, planning and design, preparation, management, student support, and quality assurance activities working within the governance structures of the University. This includes ensuring the curriculum remains contemporary.
• Designing, developing, delivering, critically evaluating and reviewing a range of modules or subject areas that equip a diverse range of students to achieve academic excellence and reflect the University’s commitment to quality and innovation.

To be successful in your application you will:

• Hold a degree or professional qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Be registered with the HCPC.
• Have experience of teaching in higher education at levels 4-7.
• Have clinical experience.
• Have experience of leading quality improvement or service development.
