City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Professor to deliver and facilitate interdisciplinary research, education and knowledge‑exchange in integrated health and social care services and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the scoping and identification of strategic research opportunities and build research capacity across the School of Health and Medical Sciences and the wider University.
  • Acquire grants, provide methodological support and mentor academics to secure income capture.
  • Champion purposeful collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including under‑served groups, and model excellent leadership in innovative research methods.
  • Teach courses, supervise PhD and MSc students and support programme design.
  • Drive innovation in research, teaching and knowledge exchange, and contribute to the REF.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience navigating between academia and professional practice with enthusiasm and curiosity.
  • Proven expertise in facilitating relationships to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Strong track record in research methods, grant writing, teaching, programme design and supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality impact for social benefit and relationship building.
