City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Professor to deliver and facilitate interdisciplinary research, education and knowledge‑exchange in integrated health and social care services and systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the scoping and identification of strategic research opportunities and build research capacity across the School of Health and Medical Sciences and the wider University.
- Acquire grants, provide methodological support and mentor academics to secure income capture.
- Champion purposeful collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including under‑served groups, and model excellent leadership in innovative research methods.
- Teach courses, supervise PhD and MSc students and support programme design.
- Drive innovation in research, teaching and knowledge exchange, and contribute to the REF.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience navigating between academia and professional practice with enthusiasm and curiosity.
- Proven expertise in facilitating relationships to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Strong track record in research methods, grant writing, teaching, programme design and supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality impact for social benefit and relationship building.
