This role will be based in the Department of Population Health and Policy within the School of Health and Medical Sciences. The postholder will join the Centre for Food Policy, a leading interdisciplinary centre which has been at the cutting edge of food policy education, research and impact for 30 years.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer in Food Policy who has academic, teaching and research experience in this field. The postholder will lead on and develop our current MSc provision and seek external research funding in the field. The postholder is expected to have proven ability to deliver engaging, in-person and online lectures and tutorials, as well as experience of working in collaborative academic research projects.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Food Policy or a relevant subject as well as training and experience in education in Higher Education. They will have demonstrable experience of research and publication related to food policy theory and practice and a growing research profile. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
