The Department of Economics seeks to appoint three outstanding educators as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Grade 6/7/8) on the Education track, with expertise in Economics, Business Economics, Management, or Finance. Each successful candidate will play an integral part in shaping the Department's educational offer — strengthening existing modules and pathways, developing innovative learning experiences, and driving pedagogical innovation through digital tools and technologies. They will support and supervise students, contribute to student engagement and outreach, and undertake administrative and leadership duties commensurate with grade.

Applicants should have a PhD in Economics or cognate field at the time of appointment. They should demonstrate commitment and capability to deliver high-quality, research-informed and transformative teaching at both UG and PG levels and across a range of cohort sizes and formats. Applicants will need to contribute to scholarship in teaching and learning through pedagogical research, case studies, conference presentations or active engagement with educational communities, alongside experience supporting, supervising and mentoring students at all levels.

Closing date for applications: 23rd August 2026 at 11:59pm. Interviews are scheduled to take place in September 2026. The selection process will involve an interview and a presentation. Further details will be confirmed at the shortlisting stage.
