As the Doctoral College Officer, you will ensure postgraduate research activities at City St George’s run smoothly. You will support students, academic staff, and external examiners from thesis submission to the final award. Your tasks include managing exam entry, overseeing thesis submissions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring exam results are clearly communicated. By being proactive, you will help ensure every doctoral researcher receives timely and helpful support.

We seek an organised and motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and experience in managing complex administrative tasks. A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is essential, as is a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with doctoral researchers, academic staff, and external examiners.

City St George’s aims to create a supportive and inclusive community where staff and students can do their best. Our values are: We care, We learn, We act. We offer hybrid working when possible, a good benefits package, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
