CBL Case Quality Lead - (Tooting) - (Redeployee applicants only)

The MBBS Programme at City St Georges admits approximately 280 students annually across 5 year and 4 year graduate-entry routes. Early Years focus on clinical sciences alongside developing communication and clinical skills. Case-Based Learning (CBL) is a student centred small group approach using real-world clinical cases and forms a core component of the MBBS Year 1 and 2 curriculum.

You will play a key role in maintaining the quality, accuracy and educational value of CBL cases. As part of your new role you will:

• Review student and tutor feedback and implement improvements to CBL cases with module convenors and subject experts
• Ensure cases are clinically and scientifically accurate, evidence-based and aligned with current guidelines
• Maintain alignment between cases, learning outcomes, and curriculum developments
• Support curriculum enhancement through innovation and best practice in CBL Delivery
• Collaborate in developing new cases and learning resources
• Contribute to quality assurance and review activities within agreed timelines
• Design Single best answer (SBA) questions aligned with CBL learning objectives

To be successful in your application you will:

• Have experience of creating course materials and resources
• Knowledge of curriculum alignment and design of case-based learning materials
• Understanding of the MBBS Curriculum
• Accurate worker and high attention to detail including when under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders and follow agreed strategy
• Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems
