This role is only open to redeployee applicants at City St George’s. Applications from individuals who are not redeployees or internal will not be considered.

Background
This permanent full‑time Career Transformation Programme Lecturer Consultant position sits within the Careers & Employability Directorate and its purpose is to make a significant contribution to the Careers Transformation Programme, City St George’s institutional commitment to embedding employability across the taught postgraduate course portfolio. Specifically, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of an interdisciplinary employability education module in the curriculum of taught postgraduate courses in all Schools except for Bayes Business School.

Responsibilities
Work closely with academic colleagues across multiple Schools to understand and support their students’ career readiness and aspirations. Apply pedagogical approaches to employability, deliver lectures to large student groups, and use learning design principles to create engaging, impactful content. Administer the academic processes that support effective assessment of students’ learning. Support students to develop their career plans.

Person Specification
Experience in academic roles and understanding of curriculum and module design principles. Knowledge of the UK graduate labour market and experience in an employability‑related role in higher education. Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
