An established and growing Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Lead Electrical Estimator to join their team based in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level estimator looking to step into a leadership role, managing a small estimating team while taking ownership of a wide range of electrical tenders across commercial projects. The Role
As Lead Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in overseeing the tendering process from initial enquiry through to final submission. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and commercially competitive estimates while supporting and guiding a small estimating team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a small estimating team
- Preparing accurate electrical estimates across a variety of projects
- Reviewing tender documentation and prioritising workload effectively
- Producing detailed take-offs from drawings using estimating software
- Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries to obtain the best commercial outcomes
