The role will involve working closely with the company directors and wider project teams, providing support across project coordination, purchasing, supplier management and general administration. Key Responsibilities * Providing administrative and coordination support across multiple live construction projects. * Assisting with the procurement and purchasing of construction materials, products and specialist finishes. * Obtaining quotations from suppliers, comparing prices and helping identify the best value options without compromising on quality. * Sourcing bespoke materials and products to meet the requirements of high-end residential projects. * Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, site teams and company directors to ensure project requirements are met. * Raising and tracking purchase orders, monitoring deliveries and keeping the team updated on lead times. * Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, spreadsheets and procurement trackers. * Supporting the coordination of project schedules, outstanding actions and day-to-day requirements. * Assisting with general commercial and administrative tasks to help ensure projects run smoothly. The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience in administration, purchasing, procurement, project coordination or a similar role would be beneficial. * An interest in construction, property or the built environment. * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. * A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of the importance of cost, quality and value for money. * Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues. * Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel. * A proactive attitude, with the confidence to ask questions, use initiative and get involved. * A genuine desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career within a growing business. What's on Offer? * The opportunity to join a respected, family-run construction business. * Involvement in high-end residential new-build and refurbishment projects across Oxfordshire. * A varied role combining project administration, coordination and procurement. * Direct exposure to company directors and experienced construction professionals. * The opportunity to develop commercial and technical knowledge on the job. * Genuine scope to take on additional responsibilities and progress as the business grows. * A supportive working environment where quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, whether you already have experience in construction or are looking to transfer your administrative, purchasing or coordination skills into the sector.
