Our client is a well-established fit out and refurbishment contractor operating across the UK construction sector and is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Central London, working on projects within the banking and financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the commercial aspects of multiple live fit out and refurbishment projects
Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
Preparation and submission of applications for payment
Monthly valuations, forecasting and cost reporting
Management of variations, valuations and change control
Preparation and agreement of final accounts
Subcontractor payment and account management
Client liaison and commercial reporting
Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance
Supporting the wider commercial team with procurement, cost control and financial reporting
Experience & Background
Strong commercial experience within construction, ideally within fit out, refurbishment or a specialist subcontractor environment
5β10 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying / Commercial role
Experience working on commercial fit out projects, preferably within the banking or financial sector
Proven ability to manage multiple projects xgikmsk simultaneously
Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and cost control
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams
Qualifications
