We are currently working with a key client who is actively seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join their growing team on a range of high-end traditional build projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected contractor delivering prestigious developments with project values up to £20m.
The Role
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the finishing stages of projects, managing works from dry lining through to final snagging and handover. You will play a critical role in ensuring all finishes are delivered to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all internal finishing works from plastering/dry lining to final completion
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure programme deadlines are achieved
- Maintain exceptional quality control across all finishing trades
- Manage snagging processes and ensure timely resolution of defects
- Work closely with site teams, clients, and consultants to deliver high-specification finishes
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety requirements
- Drive standards on site and maintain a strong attention to detail throughout
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on high-end traditional build projects
- Strong background delivering high-specification final finishes
- Experience working on projects up to £20m
- Excellent eye for detail and quality
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate finishing programmes effectively
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred
