Assistant Site Manager – High-End Traditional New Build Projects Location: South of England (Various Sites) Type: Permanent Start Date: Immediate / ASAP About the Company Our client is a highly regarded main contractor specialising in high-end traditional new build projects across the South of the UK, with project values reaching up to £20 million, all constructed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a motivated and detail-driven Assistant Site Manager to join their expanding team. The Role As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager and Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination and supervision of all on-site activities. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing site operations. * Supervise trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. * Monitor and maintain quality control throughout all stages of construction. * Assist with managing materials, logistics, and site documentation. * Promote and uphold the company’s high standards of health, safety, and workmanship. * Contribute to progress meetings, reporting, and snagging processes. * Ensure a professional and proactive relationship with clients, consultants, and the wider site team. Requirements: * Experience as an Assistant Site Manager, or a strong background as a Finishing Foreman / Trainee Site Manager within high-end or traditional build projects. * Excellent eye for detail and commitment to achieving outstanding finishes. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications. * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across the South of England.
