Ready to build your finance career in a fast-growing London business? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance team at City Rooms. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who wants more than just a repetitive processing role. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across the wider finance function, supporting everything from supplier payments and reconciliations to month-end processes, payroll support, and financial reporting. Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider leadership team, you’ll become part of a fast-paced business where no two days are the same, and where strong performers have genuine opportunities to develop and progress.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function
- Assisting with bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Supporting payroll administration and bonus calculations
- Helping prepare month-end reporting and year-end processes
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve finance queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting wider finance projects
Who you are:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a finance or accounts role
- Organised, accurate, and naturally detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills and ideally experience using Sage 50
- Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
- Studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or similar qualifications is a bonus, but not essential
