What’s the role?
Barista is where the experience begins.
Working independently, while also knowing how to move in sync with a team.
You take real pride in creating thoughtful guest experiences and understand that even small interactions matter.
You’re naturally customer focused and believe in serving a carefully curated menu with care and precision.
Whether it’s someone’s first visit or their daily ritual, you aim to give guests exactly what they need, in a way that feels effortless and genuine.
What will I do?
- Welcome every guest with warmth and confidence
- Guide customers through the menu and answer questions clearly
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare matcha, bubble tea and coffee to Mowchi standards
- Follow recipes, portion control and presentation guidelines
- Work confidently with professional coffee equipment
- Maintain systems to reduce waste and manage par levels
- Keep the café clean, organised and aesthetically presented
- Complete training to ensure correct food and beverage handling
- Follow all health & safety and food safety regulations
- Support initiatives that drive footfall and build local loyalty
