City Resource is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client's busy and growing operation based in Whittlesey. If you're a professional driver with a strong work ethic, excellent UK road knowledge, and experience in multi-drop deliveries, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across the UK.
- Safely transporting temperature-controlled goods while maintaining delivery schedules.
- Using a Manual Pallet Truck for unloading at selected delivery points.
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Minimum 2 years' current HGV driving experience.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
- A good driving record, ideally with no penalty points.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
