£15.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience) Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:30.

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our clients team, with occasional site work as required. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality structural sections to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricating structural steel sections from engineering drawings
  • MIG welding and general fabrication work
  • Working independently and efficiently within the workshop
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
  • Supporting occasional site installation work when required
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in fabrication and welding
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Confident producing structural sections accurately
  • Self-sufficient and capable of working independently
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
Desirable Qualifications
  • Current or previous welding coding's in fillet and/or butt welds
  • Evidence of previous coding certifications would be advantageous, as retraining can be provided under company weld procedures
  • CSCS Green Card would be beneficial due to occasional site work
