Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced VNA Driver to join our night shift warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks to move, store and retrieve stock within the warehouse, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate VNA trucks to move, store and retrieve stock.
- Load, unload, pick and replenish pallets and stock.
- Place and retrieve stock from high level racking accurately.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or damage.
- Follow warehouse, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate stock locations and complete scanning or paperwork as required.
- Keep the warehouse and work area clean, safe and organised.
- Work efficiently to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
- Support general warehouse duties and other departments when required.
- Work additional Friday and Saturday shifts when required and available.
Requirements
- Valid and recognised VNA forklift licence/certification.
- Previous experience operating a VNA truck in a warehouse environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely at height and within narrow aisles.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physically capable of carrying out warehouse duties.
- Comfortable working long night shifts.
- Flexible to work additional hours on Fridays and Saturdays when required.
