About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our clients office in Peterborough on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied, hands-on position working closely with the Director and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple responsibilities, communicating with customers, and handling both creative and numerical tasks. No two days will be the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing direct administrative support to the Director
- Creating and managing job sheets
- Preparing customer quotes and processing invoicing
- Assisting with artwork and basic design tasks
- Using Excel for data entry, calculations, and invoicing
- Liaising with customers via phone and email
- Managing general office administration and resolving day-to-day issues
Skills & Experience Required
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Good working knowledge of Excel, including basic formulas
- Strong numerical skills with confidence handling invoicing and figures
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and think outside the box
Working Hours & Flexibility
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. Willingness to be contactable outside of standard hours and occasionally at weekends (typically only a couple of times per month) to support customer needs.
