Location: Peterborough
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM, Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (subject to suitability)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mild Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication and welding skills, with the ability to read technical drawings and work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

* Reading and interpreting CAD and Advance Steel package drawings

* Fabricating and installing mild steel structures

* Working on-site for steel installations when required

* Welding using MIG and stick (experience with aluminium and stainless steel welding is a bonus but not essential)

* Leading a small team if necessary

* Driving to and from job sites (a valid driving license is required)

Requirements

* Experience as a Mild Steel Fabricator

* Ability to read and work from technical drawings

* Previous experience with site installation

* Full UK driving license

* Ability to work independently or lead a small team
