Class 1 Shunter Driver

Are you a reliable and safety-conscious HGV Class 1 Driver with experience in shunting? We’re looking for a dedicated Class 1 Shunter to join our team at a busy and well-established site in Whittlesey. This position is for PAYE Drivers. Key Responsibilities: * Yard shunting using a Class 1 vehicle * Safely manoeuvring trailers to and from loading bays * Supporting loading/unloading operations as required * Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects * Adhering to all site health & safety protocols Requirements: * Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence * CPC and Digi Tacho card * Previous shunting or yard driving experience preferred * Flexibility to work nights on a 4 on 4 off rotation * Good communication skills and a strong work ethic What We Offer: * Regular, consistent shift pattern * Supportive working environment * On-site facilities * Opportunities for overtime and long-term progression Job Type: Full-time Pay: £16.50-£18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Schedule: * Night shift * Weekend availability
