We are looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our clients team, with occasional site work as required. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality structural sections to specification.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricating structural steel sections from engineering drawings
- MIG welding and general fabrication work
- Working independently and efficiently within the workshop
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Supporting occasional site installation work when required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Previous experience in fabrication and welding
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Confident producing structural sections accurately
- Self-sufficient and capable of working independently
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Current or previous welding coding's in fillet and/or butt welds
- Evidence of previous coding certifications would be advantageous, as retraining can be provided under company weld procedures
- CSCS Green Card would be beneficial due to occasional site work requirements
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
