Welder / Fabricator Huntingdon
Location: Huntingdon
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am - 1:30pm
Pay: £14.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience and skill set)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our clients team in Huntingdon. This is a great opportunity for someone skilled in metal fabrication and welding who takes pride in high-quality workmanship.
You will be working on steel fabrication projects, producing precision, high-standard work in a busy but supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld metal components, including baluster staircases
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Use MIG/TIG welding techniques (depending on project requirements)
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a steel welder/fabricator
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Competent in MIG/TIG welding and metal finishing
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
