About City Relay

City Relay is a property management and hospitality company managing residential buildings across London. We currently manage approximately 20 residential blocks and focus on maintaining high standards of building condition, compliance, and tenant satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Block Manager to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Block Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential blocks. The successful candidate will be responsible for building inspections, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring full compliance with legislation to upkeep the buildings. This is a London-based role and will involve regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of residential blocks across London
  • Carry out regular property and communal area inspections, producing reports and action plans
  • Work with internal teams to ensure blocks get cleaned regularly and done to a high standard
  • Organise and oversee maintenance, repairs, and remedial works
  • Liaise with internal maintenance teams to get quotes and see works through to completion
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, leaseholders, and freeholders regarding building management issues
  • Handle day-to-day queries relating to the condition, safety, and management of buildings
  • Ensure buildings are compliant with relevant health and safety legislation
