Compliance Assurance & Control AVP We are looking for a Compliance Assurance & Control AVP to support our jurisdictional compliance teams, ensuring that Group Compliance and Financial Crime policies and procedures follow best practice and meet our legislative and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will include but not limited too: Undertaking Compliance Validation Tests (CVT) under Compliance monitoring and risk management framework. Determining processes under CVT scope and developing annual plans. Responsibilities will include but not limited too: Acting as the senior Compliance leader and representing the team within local management meetings. Helping the first line of defence to evaluate control design and effectiveness and recommending any enhancements to meet regulatory requirements. Assisting in regulatory responses and tracking issue management and assurance resolution for compliance valuation and regulatory matters arising. Managing the review, response and on-time resolution of issues arising from internal and external reviews, working with the first, second and third lines of defence. Ensuring the issue management and CVT programs and supporting controls are successfully tied into the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) program, working with Operational Risk. Driving a cohesive team culture, minimising attrition across the outsourced functions. Engaging directly with applicable regulators, when required, to provide standard updates.
