We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Solutions Manager. Your main responsibilities will include working with the Head of BSDA to deliver business solutions and data analytics strategy, lead and manage the team, and enhance processes and drive efficiencies across the business. This role plays a pivotal role in delivering first class client information solutions, investment information and tools, whilst working closely with the COO, Project team, Portfolio Management and Dealing teams to ensure that solutions are delivered.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within a private wealth business, which will have given you a strong understanding of business solutions required to deliver a first-class service to internal and external clients.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Solutions Strategy – Work with and support the Head of BSDA, COO, Project Team, Partners and Executive Committee to execute strategy.
Business Processes – Work closely with front office SMEs to drive efficiencies, mitigate risk and ensure elements are assigned to appropriate resources. Review suggestions for improvement from stakeholders and prioritise these in line with other initiatives. Implement consistently across relevant teams and ensure all implementations include ongoing monitoring for best practice.
Business Systems – Working closely with system providers to ensure service levels are managed and maintained.
Data Analytics - Drive data-driven decision making across the business. Identify opportunities to leverage data for business growth and operational improvements. Collaborate with BSDA team members, IT team and Project team to implement solutions.
Data Security and Compliance - Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (i.e. GDPR), FCA regulations and security standards. Ensuring data integrity, security and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations (i.e Cyber Security Policy).
Leadership and Team Management
Act as deputy to Head of BSDA to lead a team of 6 BSDA colleagues, ensuring workload is managed, deadlines and targets are met, and high-quality data and solutions are delivered. Support and mentor team ensuring efficient workload. Provide guidance and support on technical and operational matters. Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. Identify training needs and support team members in their professional and technical development.
What you’ll need for this role
- 5+ years of experience in business change or front office operations within a Financial Services business.
- 2+ years experience in supervising or managing a team.
- Strong technical skills including implementing systems, business solutions, and analytics.
- Knowledge of using AI applications in financial services would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
