We are seeking a skilled Transaction Reporting lead to manage the EMIR jurisdictional obligations in the transaction Reporting team, based in London. This role involves overseeing various reporting requirements such as EMIR 3.0, MiFID II, SFTR, and Bank of Italy. As the EMIR lead, your responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely submissions to relevant authorities and supporting project-related tasks. The team operates in both London and India.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor/Supervise completion of, and as needed performance of daily exceptions management in a timely and accurate manner to meet Wells Fargo's reporting obligations.
- Monitor/Supervise completion of, and as needed performance of daily reconciliation controls in a timely and robust manner.
- Further enhance the control framework around the existing transaction reporting processes and controls.
- Maintain and enhance governance documents (e.g. Process flows and procedures).
- Provide SME analytical support to regulatory change projects including co-ordination and execution of related testing.
- Act as the link between business requirements and technology solutions.
- Work with Traders and Salespeople to work through potential trade issues and violations.
- Work with Compliance and Legal stakeholders on rule interpretations for regulatory change and ongoing reporting.
- Deliver timely and accurate MI to Operations & Compliance management.
- Issue Management and incident write ups.
- Liaise with senior regional stakeholders through Senior Stakeholder meetings.
- Present in Senior Stakeholder meetings, Forums or Steer Cos.
Required Qualifications:
- Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Knowledge of transaction reporting operations including EMEA TR related requirements.
- Ability to understand and translate regulatory rule changes and map to requirements.
- Working product knowledge of the OTC Derivatives/Fixed Income lines of businesses and products.
- Experience of working with project stakeholders to deliver change.
- Proven track record of process improvements and project delivery.
- Strong communication and organisational skills to work with local and remote Operations, Technology and Compliance stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred).
Desired Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with excellent experience in transaction reporting operations, covering EMIR 3.0 with experience/knowledge of MIFID II and SFTR an advantage.
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the regulation and reporting methodologies.
