About City Pop
At City Pop, our product is at the core of everything we do. Every apartment, every building, and every guest experience reflects our vision of modern, efficient, and design-driven urban living. As we grow across Switzerland and Europe, we're looking for a leader to define, develop, and safeguard the City Pop product in all our markets.
The Role - On-site
City Pop is opening its first building in London — and we're looking for the founding person to run it and help grow the market. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role — combining daily operations, customer care, sales, and business development as we launch our first long-stay residence in the city.
What You'll Do
- Operations & Customer Care — Run the day-to-day operations of our London building: tenant communication, check-in/out, cleaning planning, billing, and first-line support — making sure every stay is smooth and every tenant wants to extend, return, and recommend City Pop.
- Tenant Experience — Be the person on site: build long-term relationships with tenants and key contacts and resolve issues with full transparency.
- Sales & Commercial — Own the occupancy and commercial performance of the building; develop B2B relationships with institutional clients (universities, corporates, medical centers, public offices) and manage bookings from external partners and portals.
- Business Development — Act as City Pop's presence on the ground in London: support our central Expansion team in identifying new buildings that fit our concept, running first-level location analysis and building a network of brokers, owners and developers in the UK.
- Quality & Facility Management — Coordinate cleaning and technical partners, run regular site inspections, track issues through to resolution, and keep standards consistently high.
What You Bring
- Experience in hospitality, co-living, serviced apartments, or property operations (a strong plus)
- Commercial / B2B sales experience (an advantage)
- Mother-tongue or fluent English, plus another City Pop location language (German, French or Italian) as a plus
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Comfort with numbers, basic financial assessment, and reporting
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership
- A self-starter, comfortable owning a market with limited on-site support
- A dynamic, adaptable personality — stress-resistant and driven by growth and results
- Right to work in the UK
- A good sense of humor, a friendly attitude — and the makings of City Pop's biggest fan, always ready for new challenges
