Come and join us as a results driven Senior Digital Channel Manager, for a 12 month maternity cover contract, who will be responsible for the digital acquisition and retention channel strategy across all of our digital platforms.
The Role: As our Senior Digital Channel Manager you'll be focused on attracting a predominantly trade installer audience (with some retail) through personalised and relevant content. You'll be accountable for all elements of channel performance to ensure that appropriate Digital reach and ROAS metrics are achieved. You’ll ensure the digital marketing team is aligned with the business trading plan and provide relevant performance and market insights to the trading and commercial teams, whilst identifying new channel opportunities to ensure that we stay ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through SEO, paid media, and email channels to ensure a seamless visitor journey.
- Provide dedicated line management and development support to a team of four, including three Senior Digital Marketing Executives and a Digital Content Manager.
- Lead the migration to a new operating model for SEO and paid activity to keep us at the forefront of digital marketing.
- Oversee the production of high-quality onsite copy and category content to improve search visibility and address customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure acquisition spend is efficient and aligned with commercial margin targets.
- Ensure all marketing communications comply with GDPR and advertising standards while fostering a culture of psychological safety within the team.
This is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home, but you should be within commutable distance of our offices in Crick, Northamptonshire. This Senior Digital Channel Manager is offered as a 12 month fixed-term maternity cover.

Skills and competencies
- Strong leadership experience within the Digital Marketing space (preferably working within a growth retail business - although experience in other industries would be considered).
- Proven experience of managing a £1.5m+ digital marketing budget to drive £multi-million revenue and managing the digital marketing strategy.
- Experience leading specialised teams with the ability to inspire and develop others whilst embedding best practice across your team.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced growth business.
- Experience working in a data-driven retail/ecommerce environment with demonstrable experience utilising data and analytics to drive growth through marketing activities.
