HR Systems & People Insights Manager

City Plumbing

Crick, Northampton, United Kingdom

Hybrid opportunity with travel to our Head Office in Crick, Northampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful information from HR data. Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and systems based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and SLT to implement data-driven solutions and strategies. Help develop and maintain HR systems, policies and procedures based on data insights. Enable business decisions through data.
  • Scenario options and modelling for: impact of bonus schemes, salary framework and ASR financial modelling, scenario analysis and evaluation of different ASR % and differentiating scales, cost modelling for People legislation for example – NI increase and threshold change.
  • Managing system upgrades, user testing, and updating procedures. Conducting regular gap analysis reviews to ensure our people systems are properly utilised and continue to be fit-for-purpose. Sharing knowledge within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service that is offered.
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity – resilience so no single point of failure in processes, utilising reporting tools to identify data cleansing opportunities.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to HR metrics like turnover, absenteeism, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Monitor Issue Log and make recommendations on mitigations and remedial actions, taking prompt action to improve systems and processes as required.
  • Engage and collaborate with operational colleagues (Branches) to understand system issues or misuse and recommend changes and/or offer training as appropriate. If there are trends in regions, attend regional meetings to address training needs.
  • Identify errors and issues that cost the business money and use this data to educate and help embed an accountability model across all users involved in any People Processes.
  • Automation and integration, work with our third parties and internal technical architects to ensure systems communicate securely and effectively together through automation and or integration.

  • Use of ITrent HR System
  • Dashboards (Looker Studio or PowerBI) Use of a case/query management system
  • SAP Business Objects
  • Data Analysis
  • SLT level MI data
  • Liaising with 3rd parties and ensuring SLA’s and milestones are achieved.
  • Strong analytical and data visualisation skills
  • Strong accuracy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
