We are currently recruiting for a driven, strategic and passionate Territory Sales Manager to generate a continuous stream of sales revenue and profit for our business. Please note this role will involve travel around the region so you will need to have a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales plan to identify and pursue new trade and existing account sales opportunities within the specified territory, maximising business support resources effectively and ensuring costâeffectiveness.
- Proactively engage with potential customers, understand their business requirements and position our products and services to secure supply from the whole of our portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Regional Director/Managers, External Sales, Branch, Specialist and Head office support teams to align strategies and activity, utilising specialist knowledge and expertise to create an industryâleading customer offer.
- Form working relationships with sales personnel of key suppliers operating within the assigned territory, ensuring that effective jointâcalling activity is maximised.
- Build a comprehensive knowledge of your assigned territory to include customer opportunities, market trends, competitor activity across all target market sectors.
- Keep informed and upâtoâdate on industry and technological trends, market conditions and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats, using market intelligence to adapt the territory strategy and product and promotional activity to deliver the best results for target customers.
- Promote and advocate City Plumbing & the wider Highbourne group specialist business units for providing bespoke solutions to the marketplace, becoming the customer's first choice.
- Provide regular updates to the Regional Director/Manager on progress toward target and strategy using existing business reporting tools to track sales, customer interactions and overall performance.
