Come and join us as an Estimator in Non‑Residential and build your career as part of a new business unit that is growing at pace. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, determining costs, and preparing accurate and comprehensive estimates, specifically in commercial sanitaryware. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients, to ensure that cost projections align with project objectives and budgetary constraints.
Identify the needs of the customer by developing and nurturing strong relationships, ensuring that designs and project plans meet their requirements. Act as the main point of contact, putting the customer at the forefront of our decision‑making and ensuring that we continue to be the customer’s choice. Provide an accurate and competitive estimation of costs to include materials, labour, equipment, and overheads to complete the project, based on the customer’s needs and following assessment/research. Prepare and distribute quotes, providing a responsive same‑day service where required and talking the customer through any queries – ensuring that the customer is at the forefront of the service we are providing.
Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, bids, contracts, and project‑related documentation from suppliers. Provide timely reports and updates to project stakeholders regarding cost projections, budget variances, and project status against the timeline. Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs, schedules, or quality. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other areas of the business (e.g. Account managers) to provide our customers/clients with the accurate and timely service that they expect from our business. Utilise these relationships to resolve queries and overcome any barriers to complete the project.
Extract from N13 drawings, ensuring correct specification and pricing requirements, and returning quotes meeting the customer deadlines. Support the bid team for new contract opportunities and support buying activities as and when required. Look at products and work with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the review of new or existing products during the design phase to reduce costs for our customers and increase the profitability of the product for our business.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Knowledge of commercial washroom & bathroom manufacturers and product ranges
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction, manufacturing, or engineering industry
- Understanding of project management principles and industry methods
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Familiarity with estimating software applications
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- A keen eye for detail and efficiency in delivering accurate quotes at pace
