Be at the Heart of Our New Commercial Venture! City Plumbing is the UK’s leading name in domestic plumbing and heating, but we aren’t stopping there. We are currently launching a dedicated Non-Residential (Commercial) division, and we are recruiting for a motivated Commercial Sales Coordinator to help orchestrate our growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team in its early stages. You will be the vital link between our market data, our sales field team, and our prospective commercial clients. As a Commercial Sales Coordinator, your mission is to identify, engage, and organise new business opportunities. You will be the central hub of the sales process – using market insights to find prospects and professional outreach to turn them into loyal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Lead Generation: Utilise industry tools to identify new construction projects and high-value commercial prospects.
  • Outbound Engagement: Reach out to potential new clients and lapsed accounts to introduce the Commercial and City Plumbing proposition.
  • Account Coordination: Qualify leads and coordinate with Senior Account Managers to ensure a seamless handover for site visits and quotes.
  • Database Management: Maintain an accurate CRM system, ensuring our sales pipeline is organised and up to date.
  • Sales Recovery: Analyse customer spending patterns to re‑engage with "lost" accounts through targeted offers and service updates.
  • Cross‑Functional Support: Work alongside the wider commercial team to help execute sales campaigns and meet monthly growth targets.

We’re a new team so collaboration for us is really important. Whilst the majority of our roles will be hybrid, there will always be a need for in person interaction. So whilst we encourage all applications you must be UK Based and prepared to travel to our head office in Crick (Northamptonshire) at least three times a week after training. There will also be quarterly overnight stays.

You’ll live and breathe our customer‑first ethos, with a proactive and "can‑do" approach. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with our brand new Commercial at City Plumbing team and you’ll be committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do. As a proactive communicator, you are confident on the phone and possess a natural ability to build lasting rapport with site managers, contractors, and procurement teams. Your organised mindset allows you to thrive in fast‑paced environments, where you take pride in managing a robust pipeline of leads and prioritising tasks with precision. Bringing a distinct sales flair, you likely have a background in internal sales, business development, or customer service, fuelled by a genuine love for the "thrill of the win." While a strong Industry Interest in the plumbing, heating, or construction sectors is a significant advantage, an eager willingness to learn and master our field is essential for success in this role.
