WorkwithSchools is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a part‑time role at a local primary school in York, starting September 2026.

Timetable:

  • Tuesday – full day every week
  • Wednesday morning – Week A
  • Friday morning – Week A
  • Possible additional Monday full day – Week B

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in Year 4 and Year 6.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HLTA experience within a primary school
  • Strong KS2 classroom support skills
  • Confidence working with Year 4 and Year 6 pupils
  • A flexible and positive approach
