Responsibilities
As a line manager/team leader you will be required to manage a team of staff ensuring support and guidance is provided to both staff and service users in our 24hr Independent Living Communities. You will be responsible for ensuring CQC regulations and guidance are adhered to whilst working with a team to manage staff to support customers living in their own homes within York. Managing the delivery of personal care and promoting daily living skills to enable customers to maximise their independence while adhering to policies and procedures. The duties are varied, so no two shifts will be the same.
Key Skills And Experience
- Good communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
- Ability to record and document.
- Work within a team/able to use your own initiative.
- Have a knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and various Health and Social Care Acts and Mental Capacity.
- Confidence to work with other professionals and families.
- Commitment to identifying personal development and attend mandatory training.
Please note, we do not have a sponsorship licence to sponsor individuals for visas to work in the UK, therefore we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. This role is suitable as a job share opportunity. As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2.
