Danesgate is a specialist setting for 5‑16 year olds with social, emotional and mental health needs. We are seeking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with our secondary aged pupils. The school is a welcoming and vibrant place to work and offers significant professional development opportunities for anyone committed to working with vulnerable young people.

Relevant experience: previous teaching assistant or similar working with children.

The role will involve varied duties and we encourage you to visit and have an informal chat. We must have an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service. This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, and shortlisted candidates will complete a Disqualification Declaration.
