York High School is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher with a proven record of outstanding practice, or the potential to be outstanding to join our Performing Arts department.
York High School has a proven track record for the delivery of outstanding Music and Drama. The department boasts excellent facilities and a broad and balanced curriculum. The department offers numerous additional opportunities and events for students to excel both inside and outside of the classroom.
The successful candidate must have the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and inspire, motivate and challenge young people. We are seeking to appoint a subject specialist for drama, with the ability to teach music and other subjects as demanded by the timetable. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to contributing to the personal development of all the young people we teach.
