Rufforth Primary School and St Barnabas Primary School are seeking to appoint a Special Needs Co‑ordinator (SENDCo) who is enthusiastic, very well organised, resourceful and an excellent communicator to work across the two schools (one half day in each school).
Responsibilities
- Work across both schools, spending part of the day at each.
- Coordinate SEND provision and support teachers in delivering inclusive education.
- Lead and manage other staff members where required.
- Manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Qualified teacher.
- Has a passion for own personal development.
- Understands the role of class teachers in teaching children with SEND.
- Willing to learn and able to lead and manage other people.
- Excellent communication skills.
