City of York Council is advertising an Attendance Officer vacancy on behalf of York High School.

The role involves liaising with students, families and staff to remove barriers to attendance and improving attendance with Pastoral and SEN leaders.

The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and external agencies, and travel to pupils' homes if required.

Training on Arbor MIS will be provided.
