Elvington Church of England Primary School is a highly effective school at the heart of its community, with a clear vision for the future.
The Governors, staff and pupils are looking to appoint a committed professional to join our happy, hardworking team as soon as possible, as a School Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will be employed to work 35 hours per week – term time only.
Our Christian perspective shapes our ethos through the life of the school and the curriculum, whilst at the same time encouraging excellence and sensitivity to different viewpoints.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Headteacher and staff. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and efficient school environment, ensuing the smooth running of the school office on a daily basis.
The applicant should have proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school setting, and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
There may also be an opportunity to engage in a Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) role which can be discussed further at interview.
